I had an epiphany today when upon posting what I deem as a ‘happy and joyous’ poem about self-reflection I noticed a lot of traction on my previous poems raising awareness about assault and abuse – and all topics sad. After a midday coffee, I decided to finally trial membership for the Medium.com platform (since I can’t limit myself to 3 stories a month) and later tonight came across this heartfelt response from a fellow writer. It reminds me how, eventually, we can all find our peace in this world by sharing our stories with others, and ultimately ourselves.
