A Temple I’m Afraid to Touch

I was drawn to her
like a moth to a flame
temptation and desire
consumed me entirely
moved me
invigorated me
told me I could have
instant pleasure
at my fingertips
but I lost my way
to the forlorn path
with the treasure
just out of my reach
